Community Plant Exchange

Sunday 24th June 29m to 4pm

In the grounds of the Quaker Meeting House, Pell Lane, Wooldale, HD9 1QL

Bring along your surplus plants, seedlings, cuttings, cut flowers etc. Come along and choose what catches your eye.

No money changes hands. Everyone is welcome!

Meeting for Worship
Sundays 10.30-11.30am (Finishing at 11.15am on business meeting Sundays)

All welcome

Preparative (Business) Meetings

Held on Sunday after Meeting for Worship, six times a year, from about 11.45am-1.00pm.  Dates for 2018: January 7th, March 4th, May 6th, July 1st, September 2nd, November 4th.

Midweek Meetings

Usually on the first Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm, with occasional extra meetings: short period of worship, followed by speaker, DVD, etc., and discussion.  All welcome.

March 6th – ‘Becoming Friends’.  Discussions to interest newcomers to Quakerism, supported by experienced Quakers. We are currently considering Advices & Queries.

April 3rd – ‘Becoming Friends’. Faith in Action.

May 1st – ‘Becoming Friends’. Faith in Action.

June 5th – ‘Becoming Friends’.

Healing Group

2nd Monday 7.30pm.

During a guided meditation named people are ‘held in the Light’.

Writing Group

3rd Monday 7.30pm.

Writing for 20 minutes on a selected topic and then sharing with the group.

Knit and Stitch Group

1st & 3rd Wednesdays 10.00am.

Bring a project you are working on or just drop in for a coffee and biscuit.

Experiment with Light Group

4th Monday 7.30pm.

A guided meditation based on the writings of early Quakers.

Palestinian Group

Ad hoc meetings.

Supporting peaceful change in Israel/Palestine.
